CTE Online is a portal Web site that links Colorado credentialing information, the Colorado Credentialing Learning System (CCLS), and other CTE information. The purpose of this Web site is to provide a single resource for Colorado credentialing information. Administrators, human resource personnel, current credentialed career and technical education teachers, and people looking to be credentialed will find this Web site useful. The Colorado Credentialing Learning System is sponsored in part by the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE), U.S. Department of Education. For general questions, please E-mail Questions or comments about the Web site, E-mail the webmaster agibbs@colostate.edu The links to the left provide the following information: Colorado Credentialing Learning System (CCLS): CCLS provides one way to complete credentialing coursework as well as professional development coursework online. Click on the link in the upper right hand corner for module descriptions. Online Learning Guide: This guide provides information about online requirements of the CCLS system. The guide also allows you to check if you should be an online learner. Portfolio Assessment: In some cases, people who wish to be credentialed have a background in career and technical education or teaching and training. These people may wish to submit a portfolio to document prior learning and be exempted from completing some of the modules. Mentoring: CTE Online supports connecting experienced teachers with new teachers. Also at this location, a link to Frequently Asked Questions about curriculum, student organizations, and work-based experiences will be built. Credentialing Information: Links to the Colorado Credentialing Web site, a credentialing decision Web site (used to determine what the general requirements for a credential are), and other pertinent information on the credentialing process will be maintained here. CSU Information: Links to CSU continuing education, credentialing coursework, and teacher license information will be found here.
