Welcome to the Colorado Credentialing Learning System (CCLS)!

CCLS provides new secondary and postsecondary career and technical education (CTE) teachers with the opportunity to earn some or all of their vocational (CTE) credentials via our online learning system. Through WebCT (an online course management system), we have created a module-based credentialing learning system that includes pre and post assessment and formative and summative evaluation.

All CCLS modules are based on competencies validated by Colorado career and technical teachers, administrators, university teacher educators, and Community College of Colorado content specialists.

CCLS via WebCT allows for a unique and efficient learning experience with all the necessary characteristics of an effective virtual classroom, including:

  • course materials and student resources
  • E-mail to classmates and teachers
  • class chat
  • discussion boards
  • quiz and test material with some modules
  • grades and evaluations
  • CCLS modules are based on competencies validated by Colorado career and technical teachers, administrators, university teacher educators and Community College of Colorado content specialists.

Through the online CCLS system, new teachers can demonstrate prior knowledge and teaching skills via a portfolio assessment. After the initial evaluation of these skills, students will receive a personalized curriculum that suits their specific needs.

Our module based learning system offers its users true flexibility based on the learner's personal characteristics. Thus, each student, based on prior skill level and personal or professional experience, can undertake a personalized curriculum that suits them.
